State of Mind Speech & Swallowing is the only mobile outpatient and teletherapy practice in CNY serving all of New York State. The flexibility to provide home and community based services allows us to provide more functional and person-centered therapy. State of Mind Speech & Swallowing is also a practice specializing on working with adults. As a practice working only with adults vs a generalist practice (children and adults), this reflects our focus on providing the best care to persons with your specific needs. We also pride ourselves in offering state of the art equipment such as FEES and NMES as well as staying up to date on the evidence-based treatment approaches. Do you accept insurance?
State of Mind Speech & Swallowing is an approved Medicare provider. We are currently working on the credentialing process with several insurance companies in the area. If we are not currently in-network with your insurance company, you may be able to utilize out-of-network benefits. We also accept private pay and are happy to provide you with a super bill for possible reimbursement from your insurance company.
What areas do you serve?
In-person services are currently offered within a 1.5 hour radius of Syracuse. In person appointments including individual and group treatments as well as dysphagia diagnostics may also be provided in other geographic areas throughout New York State dependent on service or need in the area. Teletherapy services are offered throughout the entire state of NY.
